XPS 15 7590 Battery Health Fast Degradation
I recently replaced my XPS 15 7590's battery (as you can see in the logs). This was a genuine Dell battery, and I've noticed that it instantly began degrading, at an alarming rate. It's only been in for just over a month and has dropped from its design capacity (97,000mWh) to 91,116mWh. Theoretically, I've got less than a year til it needs to be replaced again...
Is there any way I can improve this? I don't leave it charging overnight, I don't let it go under 20% often...

The question is, how old is the battery? This system dates from 2019 -- if the battery was old stock, it could be several years old and if it is, it won't have a normal lifespan.
Somewhere on the battery is a QR code with a string starting with DP/N or CN... -- what is that string? It will have the date code embedded in it.

@ejn63 Very true, I'll have a look when I can.
