XPS 12 9Q33 screen delaminating - Replacement options?

It finally happened, the screen on my beloved XPS 12 9Q33 has started delaminating and will likely cease to be viewable before long. Did this problem ever get resolved? As in, can I buy a screen made after a certain date where they fixed the problem and avoid having it delaminate like the original screen? Alternatively, are there any compatible 3rd party replacement screens that does not have this flaw? The screen lasted long past warranty and I have no expectation of Dell taking action, but I would like to keep using my system if possible.

Best regards,

Any screen you can find that will work with this model is likely to cost more than the $30-50 the entire system is worth -- it's just too old to be worth a screen replacement.

The screens for this model weren't widely available even when the model was relatively current -- and that was more than a decade ago.

Take whatever you'd spend on repair and either buy a new system -- or one half the age of this one, which should have some life left in it.  This one does not.
