Hinge Problem Dell XPS 15 9550

It's been 3 years since I had a problem with the left hinge of my dell xps 15 laptop. I tried to keep it in place with tape but 3 years later I'm now tired of changing the tape every week. I've seen that the hinge problem is frequent in the Dell XPS 15 9550 model. I've always had dell laptop and dell desktop computers and never had any problem exept from this laptop which gave me lot of headaches. Is there any known solution to this problem please ? I'm a student and can't afford to buy a new laptop.

Thanks in advance for the answer

Disassemble the system to see what the damage is -- it's either going to involve a replacement palmrest assembly if it's the lower attachment point, or a replacement display assembly if it's the upper mounting point.

Palmrest:

If you need the diplay assembly, the part number will be different depending on the screen resolution -- FHD or 4K.

Use the part number here to source a new hinge assembly.

I think the hinge itself is ok but it seems like it is loos from the fixation. When I close my computer the plastic part on the bottom of the laptop moves a little bit. A small gap appears on the side when I close the laptop and it seems to get bigger and bigger through time.
