{SOLVED} Dell Support Center no longer is giving me my warranty information.

I had a problem with Dell Support Center. I got License Authentication Failed.

I had to Uninstall Dell Support Center using the instructions. I have reinstalled Dell Support Center but it's no longer bringing up my warranty status.

Is this a problem with the Dell Support Center?

During the reinstall, I found this box was unchecked.

I bought an extended warranty last week.  The order details show when looking at orders, but Dell Support Center STILL reports as Warranty Expired.  This was not the case when I did this same thing couple years ago on my 1720.  The status reflected almost immediately.  I have not recieved the license failure window, but just that 'expired warranty' is making me nuts.  ONE difference in how I bought extended warranties on each laptop. The old 1720 was on the phone.  My now year-old XPS 701 I ordered online.  All seemed to go well and as I said, the order is on my list.

Should I reinstall Dell Support Center?  I fear if I do and it STILL doesn't show the updated warranty status that I'll have to be on the phone for minimum of 2 hours with support.

Any advice is welcome,

aravngbich,

Did you check the information in the verified answer? Putting checks in those boxes allows the Dell Support Center to find that information.
