Has anybody successfully got the webcam to work on a Dell precision 5680 with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS

Hi! I've heard that there were some solutions in older versions of Ubuntu, but I really would like to have my webcam working for conferencing. I have enabled it an additional drivers, and I try to use some of the old solutions for the older versions of Ubuntu and it really messed my system up. I've posted in the Ubuntu forums, and nobody has given me a response in 3 days. Thanks if anybody has any ideas. You know I switched from Manjaro because I was having so many difficult problems with sound and other things and I am a long-term and I am a long-term majaro user. I had thought that my workstation was certified for Ubuntu...
