Quadro p3200 Graphics Card Running Bad
Hello, I have a dell precision 7530
specs:
i7 8850h
quadro p3200
32gb ddr4 ram
256gb ssd
I am encountering an issue, whenever i download the driver for my p3200, it runs well at first, then after restarting my laptop the graphics card starts running much worse, like half as well as it usually does. and every time I reinstall the graphics driver it will run fine, until I restart. Does anyone have a solution?. Thanks.

Hello Darwin,
I understand the frustration you're experiencing with your Quadro P3200 graphics card on the Dell Precision 7530. The intermittent performance drop after restarting can be perplexing. To address this issue, consider a thorough driver cleanup before reinstalling. Uninstall the current driver, then use a tool like Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to remove any residual files. Afterward, reinstall the latest Quadro P3200 driver from the official Dell website. Additionally, check for BIOS updates on the Dell support page, as these can sometimes resolve compatibility issues. Ensure your power settings are optimized for performance in the NVIDIA Control Panel. Lastly, monitor system temperatures, as overheating can impact GPU performance. Hopefully, these steps will provide a stable solution to your graphics card performance concerns.
Best regards,
John
