Local Drivers Update

Hello All

Maybe the scenario described bellow is something known and therefore a solution would benefit many of you, or even there is already a solution which I am not aware off :

We have many different models of DELL notebools and desktops running in our company contrywyse ... , I would like to check if there is a way to have a local tool do update hardware drivers so that after a unique download from Dell website to retrieve all latest drivers for the models we have in use in our lan , I could update all the machines without a need to a new download from external Dell website , this would reduce the Bandwidth used and the data consumed during the process which is done today where each machine is updated downloading the drivers again from Dell website

Best Regards

To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them.  Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. If already out of warranty, click here for the Dell out of warranty offering.

Hello,

Use group policy to activate an local update server.
Open group policy editor -> gpedit.msc -> Navigate to "Computer configuration" -> "Administrative templates" -> "System" -> "Device Settings" -> "Configure Search Server for Device Updates"
I have a german W11 here, so i dont know the exact pharases.
Look at the attached pic to navigate to the correct policy!
