Latitude 9330 Integrated Webcam issues

Hello!

I have a few 2n1 9330's deployed in our environment. Running Windows 11 but it's not the stock Dell OEM image.

I'm having an issue with the integrated webcam. It's a hit or miss item, it works or doesn't. I've updated the BIOS and Drivers to the latest but it still is hit or miss. Dell support won't touch it because it's no longer their OEM OS installed. Not much is changed/modified on our custom image, just software added.

The usual troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue and when it does, it is temporary.

What I want to know is, is there someone out there that knows where I can look to see if there's a conflict that is causing the camera to not work? The camera has no errors in device manager. If you open the camera app, it's a black screen. I've been telling users to reboot and it works and it might work for another week then fail on them.

So I'm going crazy trying to find out where I can find where it's failing and fix it, can anyone help lead me in the right direction? Thanks!

If any of the added software includes Zoom, Webex, etc. -- i.e., remote meeting software, is anything running when the camera does not work?  These programs can commandeer the webcam.

Yes, Zoom is installed, Webex is installed, Teams is the main app we use.

WebEx is running, Zoom is not, Teams is running.

Does the camera function return if you end those programs?

I have not tried that yet. The camera will function while WebEx is running, we have that auto open on start. Zoom is an as needed basis. Teams also opens on startup as well. It's hit or miss if the camera wants to work, a reboot will get it to work, but it's not optimal.
