4K resolution not available with WD22TB4 dock

I replaced the old dock DELL WD19 with the new one DELL WD22TB4. The reason for replacement is that with the old dock, my maximum screen resolution (on DELL U3223QE) was 4K (3840x2160) with a 30Hz refresh rate, and as per specs I am supposed to have 4K with 60Hz using a Thunderbolt dock WD22TB4.

To my surprise, with a new dock, the maximum resolution is 2048x1280 (60Hz).

When I connected a new dock to my Latitude 5510 I received this message from BIOS: "Dock is connected to a non-Thunderbolt port and will perform as a standard USB-C dock offering video, data and power". For optimal speed and resolution, use a Thunderbolt port if available"

I'm surprised that the Thunderbolt dock WD22TB4 is unable to meet the same output resolution as WD19.

Any guidance on what I'm doing wrong?

Looking into Latitude BIOS, I can't find anything about Thunderbolt.

The resolutions are affected by the bandwidth negotiated between your laptop and the docking station.  Also, the quality of cables being used may limit the possible bandwidth and causing different results between devices.

Verify your Latitude specs to see if it has the optional thunderbolt (the USB-C located next to the power DC-in connector, #2 of side view.

#2:  USB 3.2 Gen2 (USB Type-C) Connector w/DisplayPort/PowerDelivery/Thunderbolt (Optional)
