Windows 10 won't read disc in d drive
I want to burn photos to cd or dvd. Windows 10 recognizes my D drive but doesn't recognize any disc I use. I can burn DVD's from other sites like You Tube with no problem. It is just when I want to burn from my pictures file that it says "Windows can't read the disc in drive D". What can the problem be?
Thanks

Sounds like the read laser is dead.

@ejn63 It is a fairly new burner. It works fine otherwise just won't out the photo files in the order in which they are listed. It seems to me it is a software problem but I don't know how to fix it.

If the drive came with software, check with the software's publisher.
If not, there are plenty of choices in CD/DVD writing software that may work better for you.
