If you've paid for a repair, check with the repairer on the warranty they offer (usually it's 90 days but it can be up to year).

If the system is completely dead (no sign of life at all):

1.  Shut down, unplug and remove the base cover.

2.  Disconnect the battery from the mainboard.

3.  Verify that the LED on the AC adapter is ON (when the DC plug is disconnected from the system).  If it's not, the adapter is bad.

4.  With a good adapter, see if the system will power up.  If it still shows no sign of life, you'll have to evaluate the potential repair cost against the value of a 2017 model system.
