Inspiron 3482 won't detect my M.2 SSD
I have a Kingston "rbu-sns8180s3/256gj" 256gb m.2 ssd that this laptop refuses to detect. nothing shows up on bios or OS. I can confirm the ssd is working as it works on my PC. I believe it's a SATA III ssd
Anyone here please give me advice on how can I get this ssd to work with my laptop
Thanks
Laptop: Inspiron 3482 (Celeron N4000)

The M.2 SATA SSD (with 2 knots B+M key) is not a compatible storage. Your laptop will support PCIe NVMe SSD (with M key). See the storage specifications for your 3482 https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/inspiron-14-3482-laptop/inspiron-3482-setup-and-specifications/storage?guid=guid-e13e84f5-f76d-402c-aed6-1f4254d392b1&lang=en-us
