Inspiron 3482 won't detect my M.2 SSD in OS

I added a crucial  ct500p3pssd8  SSD,  my bios show the M2 ssd , but my OS doesn't  how do I set bios or OS to detect it. I used crucial tool to show correct ssd fit.  Also is there a way to turn off eMMC device?

@shotyme7​ Did you click on new simple volume? After that you should be bale to format the drive then use it in Windows. This page at Microsoft should help. This YouTube video as well.

Once you added the additional drive did you go to disk management and both allocate and initialize the new drive?

@JOcean​ I went disk to management, It shows drive but doesn't allow me to do anything other than highlight when I click on drive

@JOcean​ it says online, nothing about initializing,  no options to format, other options are new simple volume, convert to dynamic disk, convert to mbr disk
