Dell refuses to repair XPS 13 9310 which is still under warranty. What's more I bought it in Canada. I am a retailer. I bought it in Montreal on Facebook Market.

The Dell warranty was offered to original purchaser. If the original owner give legal right to you, just simply fill out the warranty and ownership transfer.  Contact seller to obtain information for ownership transfer.

There is no issue with repairing a system in Canada that was purchased in Canada.

There is an issue with repairing a system with a Canadian warranty if you now reside elsewhere.  The basic warranty is valid only in the country of purchase.

This is user to user community platform for computer discussion, assisting each others to resolve technical issue and providing valuable suggestions.  If Dell did not repair a laptop under warranty, the damage must have been caused by users and the repair eligibility did not fall under any warranty terms.

Product warranty only covers workmanship and manufacture defect.  Additional coverage for accidental damage can also be obtain.

You need to contact your seller.  It sounds like there's an issue with the warranty, and if you purchased the system third party, you will need their assistance.

I am in Montreal Quebec Canada. I bought the laptop on FaceBook market place. I checked with the serial number that the laptop is still under warranty. But I cannot find my seller and I do not have an invoice. In Quebec Canada there is a manufacturer's warranty of one year or more. You buy a product from the brand Lenovo Asus MSI Gigabyte if it is still under warranty with the serial number. He does not ask for the invoice but with Dell he expressly asks for the invoice for not repairing their defective products.

* This is not a Dell fault. The buyer should know who the seller was because you made the purchase. The buyer should have retained the sellers invoice. Dell Chat support stated that they cannot proceed until you provide the seller invoice.

In Quebec Canada there is a manufacturer's warranty of one year or more.
* IF purchased directly from the manufacturer. Not from some unknown seller on FaceBook.
